ENJOY & CONNECT.

Abigail Berry, BA (Hons) Graphic Design

I have been passionate about design for over 5 years now, I studied Art and Design in College, which lead me to studying Graphic Design at University. My specialisms are: Branding, Marketing Campaign Design and Editorial, but I like to adventure into all aspects of design. I use Adobe Creative Suite for all of my design work including, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, inDesign and After Effects. I would describe myself as a unique individual, outgoing and always happy. I produce work to a high standard and enjoy being challenged with difficult tasks and opportunities.

My final major project is a project that I created using my specialism in Branding – Marketing and Campaign Design. The brief to create branding for a new and improved Mathew Street Festival in collaboration with Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF). All new brand identity for Mathew Street Festival, now Liver Fest, making one large city wide event, in both the City Centre and Sefton Park (LIMF).

Esraa Abou-Elkawam, BA (Hons) Graphic Design

I first studied Graphic Design at GCSE; where I was awarded an A, which is where my passion started. I furthered studied it as part of my A-Levels which lead to me studying it at degree level. The last three years of study have taught me to push beyond my boundaries and experiment with different styles and techniques. I have been able to develop skills in many areas, including branding, typography, and animation through the many live briefs that I have completed over the past three years. This includes University Centre St Helens, Penguin, YCN and my employment at Digital Pine Studios.

The work that I created for the Vortex degree show brief was chosen as the official brand for this degree show. My design consisted of the idea of a journey with a typographic map concept, with the intention of encouraging employers to visit the virtual degree show with the hope of students being employed. “We want to continue our creative journey with you” was the concept behind the project.

My Final Major Project consisted of a live client brief from my employer at Digital Pine Studios, which is a small indie game company based in Liverpool. The brief consisted of creating a re-brand for the company which includes the logo and all brand aspects such as their business card, and splash screen animations. To elevate the brand further I decided to include elements such as the use of 3D and animation, which lead to a range of animations. I am fortunate that my work is going to be used as their official branding for their company. This project has lead me to develop my skills within After Effects as well as Cinema 4D.
