ollowing the success of the visit from the paper stock company, GF Smith, Module Leader Damyon Garrity introduced students to guest speakers Pressision and Foilco.

Pressision is a printing company whose clients range from Asda to Magnum and many more. Pressision’s products range from catalogue and book designs to invitations and poster design currently displayed in the studio. In addition to this, they implement various printing styles, including foil.

Whereas Foilco is a foiling company based in Warrington their services include implementing patterns onto a piece of foil, creating stamps or tape. During their talk, they gave students an overview of the foiling process and how it is implemented onto their products.

Over the day, students learnt about the services they provide to industries and clients, asked questions and engaged with some of the products the speakers had brought in.
